Russia	Single Women up to age 48, and Married Couples.	9 months to 14 years of age. Hepatitis B, TB, and HIV tested.	Invitation to travel for referral approx.  1-3 months from submission of completed dossier . Travel to pick up your child is about 1-4 months from acceptance of the referral. Average time to complete your adoption is 5-10 months.	Both parents must travel. All programs in Russia require two trips. First trip to choose referral stay is about 1 week. Second trip is 7-21 days, one parent can return home after the court date. Some regions allow three 1-week trips.
Ukraine	Married couples. Maximum age difference between parents and child cannot exceed 45 years	Children 3 yrs- 14 yrs and older available, Hepatitis B, HIV, and TB tested.	Invite to travel about 3-6 months from submission of dossier. You have the option of one or two trips to complete your adoption. Average time to complete your adoption is 8-12 months.	Both parents must travel, although 1 parent may leave after court. Travel requirements vary about 4-5 weeks if you stay for one trip. You can choose to complete your adoption from Ukraine in two trips-the first trip is 10-12 days the second trip is about 7 days in length.
ETHIOPIA	Must be married 2 yrs, one parent must be a U.S. citizen, one parent must travel, difference between mother and child cannot exceed 45 years	3 months to 14 years. Families hoping to adopt an infant must be open to a baby up to 12 months of age.	The referral of a child from 3 months - 14 years can take 3-6 months from dossier submission. If you are open to either gender the time frame could be shorter. Average time to complete your adoption is 10-15 months.	Two trips are required. The first trip is to attend court and is very quick the second trip is to pick up your child and is 5-10 days in country. Escorts are available at an additional cost. Note: The Ethiopian Gov’t prefers at least one parent travel to bring their child home.
