Building Blocks Adoption Service, Inc. is an Ohio Christian adoption agency striving to provide the best service we can to our families and children waiting to be adopted. We offer international adoptions, newborn domestic adoptions, adoption of state waiting children and assistance with all the services required to complete one of these adoptions. We have several programs with waiting children. If you'd like free information on international adoptions or newborn domestic adoptions, or state waiting children, you can request it through our site and an automatic email with attached files will be sent to you.

Building Blocks Adoption Mission Statement:
It is our mission as an Ohio adoption agency to bring hope to children by uniting them with loving parents through adoption. We believe that every child deserves the right to a secure, loving, permanent family. We create families through adoption by educating and advocating for the rights of families and children. Adoption is the best option for these children who otherwise would have little hope. We also have the responsibility, as an adoption agency, to communicate awareness and provide humanitarian aid for those that are in need and the many left behind.

Building Blocks Adoption Service, Inc. was founded by Denise Hubbard, an adoptive parent in 1997. BBAS was started with the following principles:

1. Educate families on the adoption process. Because the best adoption journey is an educated one. We begin the education process from the first moments we meet you through seminars, webinars and phone conversations. We strongly believe in educating the families before, during and even after their adoptions are complete.



2. Be upfront with families. As an adoption agency we will not benefit by telling families false or misleading information. The adoption process can have ups and down and no one can predict what will happen, but being honest with our families is the best policy we can have.



3. Come to work each day for the children. We are passionate about what we do because every child deserves to have a loving family and a chance to hope and dream.



4. Our job doesn't stop with the placing of children into families. Traveling to the foreign countries shows us that the need begins before the children find loving parents. The orphanages and baby homes are always in need of supplies and better equipment. That is why a portion of our fees goes toward humanitarian aid in foreign countries to improve living conditions for all children.

5. All children are God's children no matter where they were born. God plays a part in adoption. While many families enter into adoption through a loss of not being able to have their own children or additional children, we believe you were chosen to make a difference in the life of a child. There is a reason you are looking into adoption, your child is out there possibly waiting for you to make the decision to adopt!

6. Providing birth parents with the resources they need to decide if adoption is right for them. We know how hard it is for birth mothers facing all the feelings, worries and decisions that come with an unplanned pregnancy. We start by listening to the concerns of birth mothers and birth fathers. Our birth parent counselors ensure that birthparents understand their rights. We talk with them about their own specific situation, and make sure that they are aware of all the options that are available to them.
